It is one of the largest and most stable joints in the body designed to withstand use time and time again. However, overuse, strain and trauma can lead to hip problems that can inevitably cause pain and possible permanent damage. With active lifestyles athletes are the most prone to suffering from hip problems. Normal wear and tear coupled with the strain of sports activities cause a variety of hip problems that can progress to serious injuries if not found and treated early.
